Is a hotel stay included in my registration?
As a reminder, Midwest Damage Prevention Training Conference attendees are responsible for booking and managing their own hotel reservations directly with the French Lick Resort.
(Please note: If Indiana 811 is securing your hotel room for you through a sponsorship, board, DPC, scholarship or IURC attendance, please do not contact the French Lick hotel for your reservation details as the planning team secures your reservation through a separate room block.)
How do I book my hotel room?
Attendees can book their hotel stay by calling 844-241-6361 or booking on this link.
You will be prompted to enter a group code and password, both of which are 1124MDP.
What is the registration cancellation policy?
Refund policy: Before October 14th, attendees who no longer can attend the 2024 MWDPTC will receive a full refund. After Oct. 14 attendees who no longer can attend the 2024 conference will be able to transfer their registration to another attendee only.
What is the registration modification policy?
Registration modification policy: Before October 14th, attendees will be able to modify their registration and attendance for the 2024 MWDPTC. After Oct. 14, please contact Indiana 811 for any adjustments needed.

Who should attend the Midwest Damage Prevention Training Conference?
We welcome all stakeholders in the Damage Prevention industry, including but not limited to the following:
Contractors: Owners, CEOs, safety directors, risk managers and field supervisors.
Contract locating firm managers: Regional managers, field managers/supervisors and damage investigators.
Facility owners: Damage prevention managers, damage investigators, engineers, agency administrators, legal counsel and communications professionals for damage prevention stakeholder organizations.
Regulatory agencies: Federal, state and local compliance officers.
One call centers: Employees in the Midwest region and across the country.
Other stakeholders: Planning engineers, emergency responders/dispatchers, public officials and all other stakeholders who support and contribute to preventing damage to underground utilities.
What are the goals of this conference?
The MWDPTC brings together damage prevention professionals from across the Midwest and beyond to discuss the latest trends, laws, and best practices in the industry, as well as network and socialize with new and old friends in the Damage Prevention family.
